Help the Aged

- a British charity that provided help for old people both in Britain and abroad. It was established in 1961 and worked to reduce poverty, loneliness and prejudice in relation to old people and to improve understanding of old age and standards in the care of old people. In 2009 it joined with Age Concern to form a new charity called Age UK.
