Kansas City

- the largest city in the US state of Missouri. It is connected to Kansas City, Kansas and was established at the beginning of the Santa Fe Trail. It is now a major industrial centre for the production of steel and vehicles. In the late 1920s, Kansas City became a centre for jazz. 'Count' Basie and 'Duke' Ellington both began their careers there.
堪萨斯城（美国密苏里州最大城市，与堪萨斯州的堪萨斯城相连） - a city in eastern Kansas. It is connected to Kansas City, Missouri, but is only one third as large. The two cities are located where the Missouri River and Kansas River meet. This smaller city was originally formed from eight separate towns.
