Norman Schwarzkopf

- (1934-2012) a US military officer and general. He became popular after leading US and allied troops to success in the Gulf war in 1991. He won honours from many countries, including an honorary knighthood from the Queen. He was known as 'Stormin' Norman' because of his hot temper.
