Centre Point

- a tall office building at the end of Street in central London. It was built in the 1960s but remained empty for several years. In the 1970s some people occupied it to protest against such a large building staying empty when so many people in London had nowhere to live. It is now a listed building. A charity in central London for people without homes is also called Centrepoint.
