- a British organization started by a group of doctors in 1935. It campaigns for a change in the law to make it legal to help very ill people who want to die to do so. It helps people to make living wills that make clear their wishes about medical treatment if they become very ill. It was originally known as the Voluntary Euthanasia Legislation Society and became Dignity in Dying in 2006.
