Faneuil Hall

- a building in Boston, Massachusetts, which is called the 'Cradle of Liberty'. It was built in 1742 and again in 1763 after a fire. The ground floor was used for an indoor market and there was a large room upstairs for meetings. People met there to plan the American Revolution. It is still used as a market and meeting place today.
